Nana Palkar Smruti Samiti Day Care Chemotherapy Clinic became operational since October 2022. This clinic is situated in Borivali West on Amarkant Jha Road, Vazira Naka. It is technically supported by The Tata Memorial Centre and clinically managed by Sunrise Oncology Centre led by Dr. Ashay Karpe. It is dedicated to the comprehensive cancer treatment in its state-of-the-art clinic equipped with a deluxe room, and a 15-bedded ward. This ensures that patients receive top-notch care in a conducive and well-appointed environment.

Dr.Ashay Karpe is the driving force behind Sunrise Oncology Centre. He specialises in Solid Tumours, Haematological cancers, Stem Cell Transplants and also treats all other types of malignancies. He has published several research papers like, “Technically unresectable recurrent oral cancers: Is NACT the answer?”, “Rare Congenital Bleeding Disorders “, “Metronomic palliative chemotherapy in maxillary sinus tumour” to name a few and has also given presentations in the field of cancer research and treatment. Dr.Ashay also spends a lot of his time contributing to society by conducting medical treatment camps for people in rural areas of Maharashtra, he firmly believes that every life is worth fighting for.
