Dialysis Centre


For more than last two decades, it is witnessed in India as well as in other parts of the world that number of patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Diseases are increasing alarmingly. Patients suffering from End Stage Renal Diseases are required to undergo Dialysis.


Dialysis can be described as an artificial / external process which works for a damaged kidneys. The important functions of the dialysis are to remove waste products and excess fluid from blood and correct acidosis and electrolyte disturbances.


Salient Features

  • All the centres are vigorously supervised and governed by the experienced and dedicated Managing Committee members of the Samiti.

  • Operative Guidelines and Directives issued by the Health Care Department, MCGM are observed meticulously.

  • All the Centres remain functional on all the Weekdays except Sundays.

  • Centres run into three shifts per day from 7.00 AM till 9.00 PM.

  • Centres are run with their optimum capacities.

  • Centres are equipped with latest, high quality Dialysis Machines and other equipments and accessories.

  • These Centres have sufficient number of experienced and trained staff, RMOs and housekeepers.

  • Renowned and experienced Nephrologists provide their honorary services and visit these centres at regular intervals.

  • All the patients are examined, guided, treated and monitored by Honorary Nephrologists.

  • CKD patients taking dialysis treatment at Parel are covered under MPJAY, while registration for MPJAY of centres located at Santacruz, Borivali and at Thane is under process.

  • In absence of insurance cover under MPJAY, Trust charges nominal charge of Rs. 350/- only per every dialysis treatment of the patients.
